“What if funky, confusing, lonely, gray days…”

Just had to share today’s “Thought From The Universe” (via Mike Dooley.)*

“What if funky, confusing, GRAY, Lonely days were just
part of a “system” that,
in turn, created BRIGHT, RICH, H:-)PPY, FRIENDLY days?

What if they were just meant to give deeper elements of
your creativity a rest?

What if they were deliberately crafted holidays, of a sort,
devised by your inner psyche to relieve you from the pressure
of artificial expectations?

Would you still bemoan them, wonder what’s wrong with you,
or fear that they’ll never end?

Or, would they kind of tickle you pink?

You party animal, you –
my daily “Note From The Universe”*

PS: “I knew “tickle” would get your attention!”

Zingy Mango Salsa Recipe

Mango Salsa on the Patio - a nature\'s energy photopainting by Debra Cortese
More Mango talk… guess I get a bit carried away on some projects, but am still enjoying this one and it has already taken on a life of its own. Pauline Goldsmith, a fabulous botanical artist, friend and fellow Fairchild Garden volunteer has curated a Mango Art Exhibition for this year’s annual Mango Festival at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. I’ll have 3 of the Making Mango Salsa series artworks on display in this show and this week plan to have all of them available for purchase online. Will let you know when they’re ready! In the meantime, you can see most of the series on my New Work page. Sign up for my occassional newsletter and special offers and you will instantly get a copy of my Zingy Mango Salsa Recipe – the same one that’s the culmination of the Making Mango Salsa series.

Handbag Giveaway

February 2008 Monthly Giveaway This Classic Totebag featuring “Cocoplum and Cattails”Cocoplum Handbag

This is a nature’s energy reflection image of the cocoplum bushes and cat-tail grasses that accent my front walkway.

The original photo was taken at twilight when the most magical light entices the fairies and devas to dance and play
regardless of who may be watching! Vibrant and subdued hues of violet, purples,
greens and rich, golden yellows make this
an elegant and fashionable bag
for evening or casual dress.

See my newsletter
for drawing date and details.
