My daily view of the Delaware River inspires my work more than I realize sometimes. I was creating a few paintings for the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance annual SIXES show and the first 3 studies were not working for me. I chose the golden ochre paint, added a bit of green, yellow and the violet and was thrilled to see that my colors were as usual, the colors of nature. The image with the hint of flowers is on the wall in the SIXES show at DVAA in Narrowsburg, NY.
